 ask that all participants arrive 5 MINUTES prior to class.\nMeet Pooja:\nPo
 oja has been training in Kathak for the past 13 years under Gurus Smt. Niru
 pama Rajendra and Shri T.D. Rajendra from Bangalore\, India. She has had th
 e privilege of performing with Abhinava Dance Company at prestigious platfo
 rms such as the Mysore Dasara Festival\, Bangalore International Film Festi
 val\, ZEE5 Awards\, and Alvas NudiSiri\, and has been part of their esteeme
 d productions.\nShe has also trained in Karanas\, a special movement vocabu
 lary of the Natyashastra\, from her Guru Smt. Nirupama. Additionally\, she 
 has attended Kathak workshops conducted by legendary Gurus like Padma Bhush
 an Kumudini Lakhiaji and Pandit Birju Maharajji\, organized by Abhinava Dan
 ce Company.\nAfter moving to the US\, Pooja continues to practice and perfo
 rm under the guidance of Guru Parul Shah and Guru Smt. Nirmala Madhava (Pam
 pa)\, and collaborates with other dance companies such as NDC and Naatak in
  the Bay Area. She has given solo recitals in New York\, Seattle\, New Jers
 ey\, Boston\, Bay Area\, Houston\, Chicago\, and Los Angeles.\nRecently\, s
 he premiered her own work at the YUVA Festival 2023 in Houston\, which was 
 featured on Narthaki\, and also presented it as a solo at Yuva Bharati\, Ca
 lifornia\, where it was very well received. Her collaborative work in Navat
 man’s Mahabharata (2021) has been selected for film festivals\, and she h
 as served as a panelist for a work-in-progress series by Prayukti Arts\, Ca
