Hello! I’m Natasha Muppala and I’m a 2nd year medical student, currently based in Seattle. I’ve been dancing for over 18 years and I’m trained in Indian Classical dance (Bharatanatyam) and Bollywood. I started my journey with Bharatanatyam at the age of 6 and completed my Arangetram in 2016 under the guidance of Guru Dr. Rathna Kumar and Guru Venugopal Josyula, at the Anjali Center for Performing Arts in Houston, TX. I was also a Senior company member of the Rhythm India Bollywood Dance Company for 6 years and served as a dance instructor for Rhythm India for 2 years. During college from 2016 to 2020, I was Team Captain and the main choreographer for the Top Naach Bollywood Dance Team for 3 years at Trinity University, and also a member of the Loon-E Crew Hip Hop dance team for 4 years. Finally, in 2019 and 2020, I served as an Executive Producer of Trinity University’s annual dance production, Momentum, where I conducted auditions, recruited performers, and choreographed numerous dances for the show. I love the joy and healing that movement can bring, and having the ability to tell a story through dance!
