Learn the basic intricacies in this four part series of one of the most graceful Indian dance forms – Kathak. In this class, you will learn Kathak Gharanas, motion in Kathak, body language and posture, namaskar, taal, and footwork, and have a chance to dance to classical favorites
This class is open to all skill levels!

Meet the Instructor, Ambieca
A prominent accomplished Kathak dancer from India, Ambieca is known for her captivating stage presence and uninhibited expressions. Her extensively traditional presentations reflect centuries of technical refinement in the art as it has evolved from temples to the modern theatre. She has performed for various world dignitaries and thousands of audiences in USA, Europe, South East Asia and India.
