What is BollyCardio?
This heart-pumping dance workout will keep you burning those calories while jamming it out to your favorite Bollywood songs! Our instructor will guide you through a warmup, followed by high energy Bollywood cardio steps and finish with a stretching cool-down leaving you wanting more.
We have a capacity limit. Masks are REQUIRED, and we ask that all participants arrive 5 MINUTES prior to class. Per the current King County order, in-person class participants must show proof of vaccination.
If you register for the Virtual option, you’ll receive the Zoom Conference ID/Password so you can access the class from the comfort of your own home. Please make sure to DOWNLOAD ZOOM on your desktop (https://zoom.us/download) or mobile device (Zoom app) prior to start of class to avoid technical difficulties. Be sure you dance in a clear space and have a glass of water by your side to stay hydrated! For larger screen viewing, you can connect your laptop to your TV via HDMI, or mirror our device to your TV.
Meet the Instructor, Kanchan
Originally from India, Kanchan has been living in Seattle for over 15 years now. Dancing became an integral part of her life a few years back when she started attending Zumba classes. Soon after, she got certified in Zumba, to share the passion for fitness with everyone around her.
Teaching dance fitness classes became her de-stressor and helped create a space where she could be herself and feel the happiness, joy, excitement for those moments.
Due to Pandemic, teaching fitness classes played a very pivotal role in keeping mental health in check. And allowed her to connect with so many dance enthusiasts.
When not dancing, she enjoys experiencing different cuisines, cooking/baking with her daughter. She’s an avid tea lover and never hesitates to try out new teas that are out there.
