About the Instructor:
Professional dancer and choreographer, Abhilasha Jain is committed to cultivating a supportive environment where dancers can grow, express and find their unique voice without inhibition. Born in India, she grew up watching Bollywood movies and taught herself how to dance to Indian music. Her passion for exploring the world brought her to US where she trained in Waacking, Hip Hop and other funk styles. She started ‘DanceWithAbby’ as a means to explore, create, and use her diverse knowledge to inspire others to pursue their passion. Based in California, she has worked with acclaimed artists like Bohemia, hosted a dance TV show and boasts a substantial YouTube following of over 180,000 subscribers. Abhilasha’s dedication towards teaching has taken her across the US and India, where she continues to inspire and connect with dancers of all backgrounds.
