Enroll your kids\, ages 4-7 and 8+ yrs old\, to learn Bollywood basics with our fabulous Rangeela kids dance instructors. We keep the class sizes small so that your child can get personalized attention. Email us workshops@dancewithrangeela.com \n \nAbout the instructors: Katy Spada and Alisha Khatwani \nKaty Spada Katy began dancing at 12\, training in tap\, ballet\, jazz\, and cheerleading before expanding into modern\, African\, tango\, and theater with the Marin Community College Dance Company. She later taught Kinderdance to young children across the Bay Area and\, in graduate school\, discovered her love for Bollywood\, Bhangra\, and Bharatanatyam. Passionate about exploring diverse styles\, Katy finds dance to be a place of grounding\, joy\, and self-expression. \n \nAlisha Khatwani Dancing has been a passion of Alisha’s since she was young. Having spent most of her training learning Indian dance forms including Kathak\, Bollywood and Bhangra she enjoys spreading her joy of dancing with kids. Alisha has been teaching the Rangeela Rockstars dance program for over 2 years now and is excited to be teaching a new Bollywood dance number this season. For Alisha\, teaching the kids the Bollywood style is about learning and incorporating the Indian culture through dance!

DESCRIPTION:Come #DanceWithRangeela and bust a move learning from Ravi Varma!\n\n\nJoin Rangeela Dance Company and Ravi Varma for a high-energy dance workshop in SEATTLE!\n  \nOur goal is for you to have a blast as learning from the man himself – Ravi Varma! \nLearn more about Ravi Varma! \nRavi Varma is a highly esteemed figure in the dance industry\, boasting over 15 years of experience as a judge\, dancer\, and choreographer. His extensive career has taken him to more than 20 countries\, where he trains numerous students each year. An internationally renowned dancer and choreographer\, Ravi specializes in street dance forms like Hip Hop\, Funk styles\, and House dance\, as well as Indian traditional folk and contemporary dances. His deep research into the history of dance allows him to master forms from the ground up. \nRavi’s choreography has garnered rave reviews from audiences and led to numerous titles and championships for him and his BFAB Dance Crew\, which won the Power Of Desi Streets 2017 in Mumbai. Beyond his work with BFAB\, he is a sought-after guest educator at prestigious institutions such as IIT Kanpur\, IIT Chennai\, Hansraj College in Delhi\, and Women’s Christian College in Chennai. \nHis choreography is a unique fusion of diverse dance styles\, seamlessly blending emotion with musical interpretation. This innovative approach sets him apart\, as he frequently directs conceptual dance short films that showcase his passion and artistry. Additionally\, Ravi has made a name for himself as a celebrity trainer\, collaborating with prominent actors like Karthik\, Santhosh Narayanan\, Sidharth\, Dhee\, and Yogi B.
