Saraswathi Sathees

Choreographer

My dance journey began at the age of five, with rigorous training in Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam. During my college years, I had the privilege of dancing under Dakshina Vaidyanathan and was an active board member of SPICMACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) at VIT University, where I contributed to the promotion of Indian classical arts.
Over time, I expanded my repertoire by exploring diverse dance styles such as contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop, competing and performing at the corporate level. My passion led me to participate in several reality shows and intercorporate competitions, including 7UP Dance, Chennai Super Dances, and the John Britto Dance Competition.
Currently, I continue my dance journey with Rangeela, performing at prestigious events such as the Seattle Art Museum’s Holi and Diwali celebrations, as well as in schools and private events. My goal is to keep evolving as a dancer, learning from my peers, and sharing the beauty of Indian classical and cultural dance with the world.
