With a passion for preserving and sharing the rich cultural heritage of Sri Lanka, I am a seasoned Sri Lankan Kandian Dancer with over 25 years of experience in the classical dance form. Throughout my journey as a dancer, I have immersed myself in the captivating world of traditional Sri Lankan dance, bringing its grace, beauty, and intricate movements to life on stage.

As a dedicated performer, I have had the privilege of showcasing my talent at numerous community cultural events, where I have captivated audiences with the elegance and precision of Kandian dance. With each performance, I strive to convey the depth of our cultural traditions, expressing stories, emotions, and spirituality through my every movement.

I have also been fortunate to be a member of the esteemed Kathak Kala Academy for six years. This invaluable association has allowed me to further refine my skills, learn from accomplished mentors, and collaborate with fellow artists, enriching my understanding of dance and expanding my artistic horizons.  

Alongside my dedication to classical dance, I have also explored the vibrant world of Bollywood performances. With energy, charisma, and a fusion of traditional and contemporary dance styles, I have entertained audiences at shows, weddings, and parties. From the rhythmic beats of Bollywood music to the lively choreography, these performances have allowed me to connect with diverse audiences and spread the joy of dance across different cultural landscapes.

Through my performances, choreography, and teaching endeavors, I aspire to inspire others to appreciate the beauty and significance of our traditional dance forms. With every step, I aim to forge a connection between past and present, transcending boundaries and fostering a deeper appreciation for the artistic heritage that defines us.
