Megha Sukumaran

Choreographer

Dance has been a big part of every phase of my life. I started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 7. 

In 2015 I joined Mona Khan Company (MKC) in Bay Area, California as a student and went on to become an assistant instructor in 2016 and a primary instructor the same year.

In 2017 I became part of MKC’s  Emerging Performers (EP) group. Here I got to explore various styles ranging from Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Waacking, Kathak, Bollywood fusions and folk dance styles (like Lavani,  Bhangra, Garba,  South Indian kuthu etc).  

I love performing in front of an audience. I’m addicted to the joy that dancing gives me 🙂
