My dancer journey began with my mom forcing 4 year old me to Bharatnatyam and Kathak classes every day for 5 years, living her dancer dreams through me. While I still continue to be mesmerized by and owe all my foundational training to Indian classical dance styles I was personally always drawn towards hip-hop, bollywood and freestyle and pursued it through various avenues as I grew up – Shiamak Davar’s institute , my intercollegiate dance team, all my Youtube gurus! Dance has always felt more like a way of life rather than just a hobby and I will always continue to indulge in it and grow every chance I get.
